What it is

A facial, done the clinic way

A VMA facial is a deep cleanse with intent. We read your skin, clear it by hand, then treat it with the tool that fits: a hydra-infusion, radiofrequency, microdermabrasion, a needled serum, or a clarifying peel.

Every facial is run by trained clinical staff in a medical setting, and the plan is written to your skin type and your goals. A cooling mask and LED light close the hour. The aim is steady skin health you can keep, so we tell you how often to come and what to do between visits.

How a facial runs

Six steps, start to finish

01

Cleanse

A double cleanse and a slow lymphatic massage to settle you in.

02

Exfoliate

A gentle peel or buff lifts away dull, dead skin.

03

Steam & extract

Warm steam softens the pores, then we clear congestion by hand.

04

Treat

The heart of your facial, matched to your skin: infusion, radiofrequency, microdermabrasion, or a needled serum.

05

Mask & cool

A hydrojelly mask with chilled cryo globes to calm and tighten.

06

Light & protect

LED light therapy, then toner and sun protection to finish.

Most facials run one to two and a half hours, every two to four weeks. We set your rhythm at the first visit.

“Skin rewards the patient.”
Who it suits

Good skin is a habit

Facials suit nearly everyone. If your skin is dull, congested, dehydrated, or just tired, there is a facial for it. We match the type and the strength to your skin at the consult, and we adjust as your skin changes through the year.

A facial is maintenance and support. It keeps the skin clear and fed between the heavier work. For deep lines, loose skin, or stubborn pigment, a facial is the warm-up, and we will point you to Ultherapy, a laser, or injectables for the structural part.

If you are pregnant, breaking out badly, or new to a strong active, tell us. We keep the peels and the actives gentle, and we will never push a stronger facial than your skin is ready for.

Common questions

Facials, answered plainly

How often should I get a facial?

Most skin does well every two to four weeks. A deeper or acne facial may run as a short course first, then settle into monthly maintenance. We set the rhythm at your first visit.

Which facial is right for me?

That is the consult. We read your skin type and your goals, then match the facial and the strength. It often changes with the season, and that is normal.

Do facials hurt, and is there downtime?

No real pain. Extractions and a peel can feel busy for a few minutes, and a clarifying peel may leave you a little pink. Most people go straight back to their day.

Are facials safe for acne or sensitive skin?

Yes, with the right one. We have gentle and acne-focused facials, and we keep the actives mild on reactive skin. We will tell you if your skin needs calming before a stronger treatment.

Can I combine a facial with Botox or laser work?

Yes, with sensible timing. A facial pairs well with a course of clinical work, and a serum add-on like PDRN can be needled in. We plan the order so nothing fights.

What is the difference between a facial and a clinical treatment?

A facial cleans and maintains the skin. A clinical treatment like Ultherapy or a laser changes its structure. The best plans use both: facials to keep the skin well, the heavier tools for the deeper change.
